What could be more interesting than a raccoon? Answer: Two raccoons! These pics were taken on New Year's Eve,
2000/2001, about a month after the last shot on the previous page. I think the raccoon at left is the one in those earlier photos. What it
doesn't show clearly is how much he (I assume it's a he) has grown. He's about the size of a large cocker spaniel now. I'm guessing the
other one is his mate and he decided to take her out for dinner to ring in the new year. By the way, I've switched from the Sony Mavica to the
Nikon Coolpix 990, which is a better camera, even if these particular examples aren't as good.

Okay, this was taken around 3:00 AM, the morning of August 29. En route to bed, I found one somewhat brazen raccoon and one shyer
one (the shy one at far left) pausing for a nosh. Are these the same ones from New Year's Eve or their kids or strangers? Beats me...but
there may be more than two lurking about. Around fifteen minutes later, laying in bed, I heard shrieks and commotion outside — definitely
not cat sounds, and they occurred along the side of the house, which would be the most likely access route for our masked friends. Sounds like
we had a Raccoon Rumble out there. ("When you're a 'coon, you're a 'coon all the way...")

And here are some more possum shots. These are probably descendants of at least one of the possums on the previous pages.
Notice the family resemblance?

The cat is Jackie, who you met over on the first page. Here we see Jackie waiting patiently while a possum dines on her cat
food. (These pix, like most of those here, were taken through a glass patio door. The stuff you see on the right of each picture is a
reflection of some bags of cat food I had just inside the door.)
