TIP OF THE FREBERG
1999 [4-CD Boxed Set, includes VHS tape] A fancy collection of Stan's best with an actual x-ray of his skull on the slipcase.  Includes two records recorded but not released in the fifties: His parodies of Ed Sullivan's TV program (The Worse of the Town) and Arthur Godfrey's (That's Right, Arthur) were shelved at the time by nervous Capitol attorneys and this is their first official release.  It also includes The Conspiraski Theory, which was done in 1999 and was Stan's first "single" in almost forty years, plus many commercials and radio spots never before on record.  Freberg personally supervised the choice of the material and the remixing, and couldn't resist doing a few trims on some of the old spots, and he even recorded a few new lines, including redubbing one word in a speech by another actor.  The commercial for It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World on Disc 4 was partially reconstructed with new recordings by Stan and his son, Donavan.
